He is 2yrs old, neutered, microchipped, and UTD in all vet care.
Someone abandoned him at my husband’s job site. We brought him home and got him fixed up. Put him through training. He knows basic obedience commands: sit, down, stay, wait, leave it, drop it (this one is hard sometimes, will trade for treat), and come. Potty trained. Crate trained. Non-destructive in the house.
He is a very good boy and we love him very much, he is just is not good with other animals. He does not get along with our dog. We have had professional help from 2 trainers and behaviorist. Unfortunately, the outcome has not been good and it is suggested by the behaviorist that Arlo be the only animal in the home. He is not good with cats. I cannot speak to children. He has been around them very little and always in controlled situations as we try to keep strong kid/dog boundaries to set our dogs up for success.
He is energetic and he gets excited at new things. He is the best companion dog. Nothing makes him happier than just being next to you. He loves to snuggle on the couch and loves helping you do whatever you are doing. He loves hiking and car rides. For the most part he is a pretty chill dog. And he’s silly, so he provides lots of laughs.
