Buckets is an 11 year old pit/lab mix and as sweet and loyal as a dog can be. He has never had any health problems and has been my best friend for the last 10 years. His one issue, is he's nervous around strangers. Nothing had happened until recently when he met my girlfriend. He was nervous and she gave him a kiss at the same time he gave a defensive nip. Unfortunately, he caught her right on her lip and caused considerable damage. The trauma that it caused means that I must try to find him a new, loving home as my girlfriend and I take the next steps in our relationship. He's a good dog that needs love. He will love you back forever.

He's so sweet. Having to get him a new home is devastating for me. I just want to find him a place where he will be loved and, if possible, a place I can visit. I love Buckets so much and you'd be lucky to have him in your life. I know the "bite" you've read about will make you think twice but i know it was a fluke. Bad timing and lightning in a bottle. Unfortunately, that doesn't matter. The trauma is real and cannot be avoided.
