They must be willing to let him adjust to them and their home at his own pace. If he doesn't work out, they will need to either return him or find him a suitable home which we will need to approve.

Elisha may have not lived inside before, so it may take a little extra time for him to adjust. Usually outside cats learn to live indoors quickly.
