Loki is an 8-year old very healthy, strong and loving dog. He is a medium-size mutt with some cute terrier whiskers. He does not tear up anything in the house and is potty trained. He does get some anxiety around new dogs and people and will bark. However, once he gets to know someone, he is as friendly as can be. It is what makes him such a great guard dog. He is also quite playful and a great dog to take with you on runs.

Loki has been with us since he was 3 (human) months old. He grew up with our 3 boys. The boys have all moved out of the house and it is now my husband and I. We live in a townhome with a small backyard. The lack of space paired with our upcoming work travel plans, will make it difficult to give Loki the time and attention we want for him. We are looking for another loving home for Loki, ideally with a big backyard.

Our middle son is studying in Ireland in a vet school and will graduate next year. He would be happy to take care of all Loki’s health issues, if any arise in the future. That means the new Loki’s family will be spared of any medical expenses. We would also be happy to take care of Loki during the new Loki’s family travels (provided we are in town) thus eliminating the need for pet sitters or pet hotels.
