Basil is a beautiful sweet girl. She is a stunning dog. She will be 3 in may. She is equal parts snuggle and play. Loves to cuddle her favorite person on the couch and also loves to go for a good walk and explore new scents. She loves a delicious bone and loves to sing her hound song with you if you ask nicely. Basil has grown up with her sister hound and a cat.
Basil is an anxious pup. She would do best in a calm atmosphere with familiar routine. We are a young family and she is not thrilled about our two children under 2. She doesn’t like how fast they move and how they are unpredictable. She gets anxious around a busy home. She is fine around other dogs as long as they are submissive. She likes to be the dominant leader. She would do best in a home that has a true yard for her to roam and protect. She is a great dog for alerting you when something new has arrived at your house... postman or squirrel.
We are happy to keep her as long as needed until we find the right home.
