Memphis

Memphis is a mixed breed we adopted at 6 weeks old. She is an absolute sweetheart but very scared of strangers. She can warm up to you and her trust can be earned but it takes time and patience. She will need to be worked with on socialization and overcoming her fears. She has always got along with other dogs, cats, and young children until recently. She has now become unpredictable and occasionally aggressive especially when food is around, towards smaller dogs and cats. She has attacked our senior chihuahua and we have young children so it has come to our attention a different environment would be better suited for her. Perhaps a home with no other pets or only one big dog as well as a home with no young children. We love Memphis and are heartbroken to let her go but having small children and small animals in the house we aren’t willing to risk a tragic accident happening. She is loving and playful, crate trained and housebroken.
