Douglas is a very athletic red heeler. He loves to play fetch. He loves to run. He loves to swim and play in the water.
He’s very gentle with kids. We have 3 kids under 5, and he loves to play with them.
He loves all people. He can get a little too excited to see people. We usually put him in his kennel if people come over to the house because he tries to sit on their laps.
Doug is kennel trained and fully potty-trained.

Is there anything else you'd like your pet's new family to know?:
Douglas is such a good dog. Our family just does not have the resources to train him to have better social manners right now. He’s such an intelligent dog and wants to learn. He just needs an owner/owners who can give him what he needs.
Why are you rehoming your pet (primary reason)?:
Pet Behavior
Rehoming reason details (if necessary):
Douglas has become difficult to manage around other animals. He hasn’t had a chance to learn good socialization with other dogs and can be aggressive. He has never hurt another animal but he’s very alert when he sees them and will lunge at them.
