Layla

Layla, sweet & playful big puppy

Don't let those puppy dog eyes fool you, this girl is one happy baby! Layla is the sweetest & most loyal pup I have ever met. Unfortunately she doesn't realize how big she is which is making safety a concern for our home. Although she would never hurt anyone on purpose it is hard for my young daughters to play with her without getting hurt. We've worked on behavior & they cover in blankets, use gloves, to play with her, but still receive a lot of scratches & bruises. Unfortunately it does mean she needs to be crated when I'm working & can't be nearby. This is not the life she deserves. She would do really well with older children, or a single owner, or empty nesters. She is mostly housebroken & will go to door, but still needs to be taken out regularly to avoid accidents. We do crate her when I am working since I can't watch the children with her & occasionally will wear diapers. For full grown size I put 60 lbs but that is a pure estimate. She is a mix lab & boxer, & at 4 months she is already 40lbs & super strong.
