Sweet Hound

Hi,
I am desperately looking for help to find a place for a hound that was recently rescued from an awful situation. He spent his entire life chained to a tree with no real shelter or care.
He is about 3 years old, 70lbs, he is not neutered and will need all of his shots as it is unlikely he has had any vet care coming from his previous situation. I am in Raeford NC but more than willing to travel to get him to a better situation. He will need owners who have the time, experience, and patience to train him and help him be the best dog he can be. He does well with most dogs but tends to have a dominant attitude around them.
We were very fortunate to be able to get him out of his awful previous situation but unfortunately we can’t keep him for long. We don’t have a secure fence and we can’t bring him inside. I want to make sure he gets the best possible opportunity to thrive in a loving home with owners that will care for him.
I would sincerely appreciate any help you could offer. Please consider helping this sweet boy, he deserves the world.
