Orangie

Orangie is a two-year-old female orange domestic shorthair that came around a year ago, rail thin and with the fur rubbed off from her checks. She wasn't like the other strays I had been managing. She exhibited a docile demeanor and loving spirit.
I fed her, loved her, and watched her gain weight. I took her to be spayed, vacinated, rabies, deworming, lab work, everything. Her health is superb.
Orangie had been living under our shed, which I'd lined with straw, but it was a solitary life, coming out only for food and love.
Finally, I broke down and brought her inside, but we learned she's not good around other adult cats. (She's been great with our two kittens.)
Therefore, she has had to live in a 10x12 room, and it feels cruel because she's trapped in the room. I do visit and play with her several times a day.
Now, my spouse is insistent on putting her outside, but it's cold, and I don't have the heart.

I know there is a multitude of cats, and only a finite number of adopters. Nevertheless, I have to try because Orangie needs, craves, love. She even likes to give kisses.
