Rehoming reason details (if necessary):
Terminal-Adoption was only considered and approved due to special circumstances. My standing as foster for large breeds in hospice care,38yrs experience, Pet Trust included dog handler, transport, funds for vet care and forever home in place. Emergency protocol/safety and wellbeing of my companion is my primary and only concern. Kyon wass adopted as a "mastiff/boxer mix brought in as a stray, malnurished, mange, tics, intact(no longer)skittish and 70lbs. No children,no cats or other dogs. After losing my 13yr old in June I knew I could help this boy in some way shape or form. 2 days later I realize there is something off. Within a week its confirmed...Kyon is Cane Corso Due to his breed all protocols, trusts etc is now null and void. My dog handler refused, rehome not an option now. Kyon & I are alone. Ive no family or friends, not one person I can call for anything. My health failing rapidly(terminal COPD W/ emph) i lost sight in my right eye unexpectedly in Nov,the other will follow within 6-9months. with time of the essence 75% recommend euthanasia. My health keeps me isolated and has for several years. Being disabled as well errands are few and far between. My passing will most likely be at home or grocery, either or there is no way Kyon will let anyone enter. Kyon will be deemed aggressive, emergency responders must enter...they will not think twice. I've been trying to find a home for Kyon since late Sept. This is our last and only hope
