Lucy

We love Lucy! This high anxiety girl has been a member of our family for over 5 years, since before our youngest was born, and she is a lover of all. We are making the excruciating decision to rehome her because her separation anxiety makes it hard to crate her when we are at work, and we are not working from home any longer. One of us has to travel a lot now.

Lucy always wants to be near, and gets over excited / licks / jumps when we come home or guests visit, and we have had many times where she has jumped up on visitors to try to “hug” them. She doesn’t mean to startle anyone, but her overly loving personality coupled with her anxiety makes her needs too much for our family at this time.

An ideal family will not have to leave her for extended periods of time and will not mind cleaning up when she becomes anxious in the crate or at home. She is super gentle and sweet, probably a mix of lab, pitt, and chihuahua, with beautiful brown eyes and fur. Barely sheds and just wants to love. She has used anti-anxiety medication in the past to try to help calm her nerves.
