Roux is a sweet, high energy dog. She is a mix of American staffordshire terrier and German Shepard. She is small and only about 40 pounds. She is two years old and needs a family that can take her on lots of walks to get her energy out. It takes her some time to adjust to new people and dogs, but once she meets them she loves them. She has been great around our three month old baby since she’s been born. We simply do not have the time to keep up with her energy levels and want to make sure she goes somewhere where she can run around in a backyard and go on frequent walks. She would be great around another dog but it always takes her a little bit to warm up. Roux knows basic commands like sit, stay, and come, but she might even benefit from some additional basic training.
