Duke

We found this fella running in the road and when we could not locate his family, he stayed for an extended period. It is with heavy hearts that we need to find a family that is a better fit for him.

Duke is a 2 year old housebroken Rhodesian Ridgeback. A day spent playing in the sun and napping is his favorite. He will diligently try to snuggle in the bed, but is respectful of boundaries and never chews on furniture. He is exceptionally smart, performing quickly with commands and structured training. There is no ball too quick for him to fetch and retrieve. His athleticism is astonishing. He seeks love and affection from his people… and the well-appointed backscratcher. Duke wants to stay with his pack all the time. He’s loyal and always on-duty to protect his home. Extreme noises and high energy stress him out so he needs a family with adults ((no children)) that will spend a little time with him daily to continue his training.

Just the deets: healthy, neutered, current on vaccinations, crate-trained, completed Basic Obedience Training course
