Chewie

We adopted Chewie (M) from a shelter 3 years ago, when he was 7 months old. He came from a very negative background before entering the shelter. We know that we were the first humans who really gave him love and care. We knew that adopting Chewie would be challenging, and it was. We had to teach him how to be a dog, how to play catch, how to relax around us...very simple things. Despite being super calm and happy in our home, he is a very nervous dog around people that he doesn't know. He is very protective of his own people. We have a cat and they get along very well.
It's with a very heavy heart that we came across the need of rehoming him, and we want to make sure that whoever adopts him is someone who has the knowledge and skills to deal with a very nervous dog.
We think he could be the perfect companion to someone who lives alone. or a couple who doesn't have children.
Chewie has all the vaccines up to date, he's microchipped, neutered, and has flea, tick, and heartworm prevention, dewormed, house trained and crate trained.
We have a large crate, two large beds, bowls, and several (very used) toys that we are sending to his new home.
We just want a good, patient family to take care of our boy
