I have had her since she was about two months old. She was waiting for me outside my back door when I got home from work one day in 2014, wagging her little stumpy tail and just happy to see me. She's convinced anyone you allow in the door is there to see her! She will bark until you reassure her that they are safe, but she wants them to pet her. The only time I've known her to try to bite is when I was trying to trim her nails as a pup. It was very scary for her, I bungled the effort, and I haven't tried since. She does just fine at Petco or Petsmart because they keep her distracted, so she is completely unaware of what they are doing to her feet. Also they have that harness contraption... But she is very sensitive about her feet. She gets along well with other dogs, she's very interested in birds except for that bitey beak part, she does fine with cats once she trusts they aren't going to hurt her. If she gets a claw hung accidently, she will shriek like she's being disemboweled, but as soon as she's loose, she's fine. I have tried to keep that experience to a minimum, but sometimes it happens.
