Why are we rehoming: Gaia is a very smart and high energy dog. She was meant to be our third family dog but she is struggling with our two older dogs - they are 9 and 5. It appears at this time that she would be happy as the only dog in the home. She would benefit from continued training and socializing. After receiving some bad advice from our trainer her socialization is lacking but these dogs are very trainable. She is also struggling with my son, who is 8 and on the spectrum. We will not rehome gaia to a family with small children. Their noise and quick movements are very over stimulating to her

We are really sad over this decision but Gaia isn’t happy in our home and we need to help her find her happy place.

We will send her with her crate, favorite toys , food supply etc

These dogs can be wary of new people so ideally we would have a couple meets before she would go home with someone new
