Joey

Joey is a sweet but new-people shy, 7-year-old male cat. When he's comfortable with the people in his space, he asks for pets and might even sit on your lap or sleep on you. It will likely take some time and patience to get to know him and for him to feel comfortable in his new forever home. He is many pounds overweight and will require a strict diet. Aside from weight issues, he has no other medical conditions and is up to date with all his vaccinations. His last vet visit was in March 2023 and I can provide his medical records. He is litterbox trained and has no behavioral issues. Joey is my grandmother's cat she purchased as a kitten from a shelter near Hopatcong, New Jersey. My grandmother is no longer able to properly care for him, so Joey is looking for a new home. I'm looking for someone who has experience with cats and has a quiet home, with or without another cat. He's been living with a cat and chihuahua for his entire life and gets along well with them. Indoor only.
