Tamoo

Tamoo, a name that combines both the sound of a cow and a cat named Tom “Tamoo” or “Tomoo”- depending on your accent! Do you love his name? He loves it, too! If you greet him with exaggeration “Tamoooooooooo” he’ll come running to you with high vocals to say hello back to you. Tamoo is 4 years old and is looking for a dedicated owner- an owner who is looking for a pet best friend. He’s a precious kitty, one who might thrive well in an environment without any other pets. Don’t worry about him being lonely, because his loyal nature will prove itself as you wake up to him every morning sleeping right by your side. He’s an affectionate little kitty, weighting an average of 10lbs. Tamoo isn’t too picky about the flavor of food, but he does have a craving for Salmon at any point during the day. Just like a health-conscious human would stray away from processed food, Tamoo depends on prescription food to keep him healthy. But the good news is he doesn’t need much food to feel full, just a spoon full of yum-yums a few times a day will keep him happy. Will you be Tamoo’s best friend?

Is there anything else you'd like your pet's new family to know?: He is strictly an indoor cat. He does OK with elderly cats but seems to have territorial tension with younger cats. He doesn’t do well with male dogs (I don’t know about female) He is very loving, with all humans and if he clings to you he will sleep with you throughout the night. He loves the sound of birds chirping He drinks distilled water (because we have hard water) He must be on a medicated wet/dry diet to prevent oxalate stone buildup. He loves salmon tasting foods. He only needs a teaspoon/~1.5 teaspoon of wet food a couple times a day- anything more than that will upset his tummy. I never give the whole can of food in one sitting. A little bit truly goes a long way for tamoo! A can of wet food will last up to a week for him (so a 24 pack of medicated wet food will last about 5-6months). He does nibble at hard food throughout the day if he’s hungry in between wet food meals. He loves to play and is very affectionate.
