What criteria are important to you when considering an adoptive family or home for your pet?: Strong dog people, ideally has time to play with Quincy and possibly have acreage for him to run around on. Quincy is high energy and stubborn, but really wants to work and have his mind stimulated. He would do well with lots of space to run and a family or person who can give him the time and dedication he deserves.
Is there anything else you'd like your pet's new family to know?: Quincy is incredibly sweet, loving and smart. He can be a little fearful at times and does best with smaller groups of dogs or one on one playtime. He gets along well with 90% of the time with other dogs. He loves laying on couch at night and cuddling/sleeping while we watch TV. He is pretty good on a leash, but prefers off-leash adventures. Hi is crate trained and seems to feel secure in it. He is good at hand signals and commands such as wait or sit and can easily be releashed. He does not resource guard in any way and has no issues around toys or food. He will not eat his food until he is given permission through hand signals and "ok". He is an exceptionally smart and sweet dog and will be a wonderful family companion.
Why are you rehoming your pet (primary reason)?: Schedule, No Time
Rehoming reason details (if necessary): Both of us are traveling more with work and Quincy hasn't gotten along with some dogs at daycare so this is no longer an option for us.
How long will you be able to keep your pet before you may need to consider surrendering him or her to a rescue?: Not an option, my pet will stay with me for as long as it takes
Who is your veterinarian?: Cascade Vetrinary Clinic

Would you consider a long distance adoption?:
