Beau

Loving Senior Corgi-Lab Seeks Happily Ever After

We’ve had the joy of having Beau (Beauregarde) for nearly 5 years, but sadly, he needs a new forever home, as we are having a baby, and he is not good with kids.

Beau comes with special needs. Prior to us adopting him, he was mentally (and perhaps physically) rehabilitated for 1.5 years after having suffered abuse at the hands of his previous owner(s).

Apart from kids, Beau is not good with cats, nor other dogs (this seems to be protective or jealously related, because he plays and gets along with most dogs when he is boarded).

Beau is a senior dog (he’ll be 11 on January 1st), but you wouldn’t know it! He is built like a propane tank, but can run really fast! He loves cuddling and touch, and greatly enjoys his walks and car rides.

Beau would do best in a calm environment with an at least somewhat active woman or an understanding couple with a lot of love and patience to give.

Beau, if desired, will be accompanied by the vast majority of his belongings - crate with bed, two ramps (for couch, bed, etc), blankets, toys, food and supplements, food storage, food and water dish, etc
