Looking for a FURever home
Max is a lovely, distinguished old gentleman, who has been through quite a lot in his 12 years of doggy life. My mother, Rebecca found him at the Pasadena Humane Society. She fell in love with him instantly. He was house-trained and attentive. He liked to play fetch and have tummy rubs. As her health deteriorated he was loyal and wouldn’t leave her side. Not even treats could persuade him. After her passing, I have had the pleasure of his company, but unfortunately, I don’t think I can provide him with the stability he needs. I travel a lot and next year I will be gone for months at a time. Ideally, I would love to find a home for him with a loving and stable human companion who enjoys lounging as much as he does. I am happy to continue to pay for any medical expenses related to him, what matters the most is that he is placed in a loving environment.

Max is a loyal, sweet, sleepy, older gentlemen. He stayed by my mothers side during her illness and till the very end. He still has some playful puppy energy, but in general just likes naps and tummy rubs. It would mean the world to me to know that he is in a family that is kind, loving and warm.
