What's the most endearing thing about your dog?: When he sees you waking up in the morning he will jump on the bed and lay his head on your chest for cuddles.
What criteria are important to you when considering an adoptive family or home for your pet?: Single owner or potentially an already established couple, no children or other pets (he has cohabitated fine with 2 other dogs but he is selective and has resource guarding issues with food and special toys), calm home environment, active/outdoorsy, fenced yard.
Is there anything else you'd like your pet's new family to know?: He has so many amazing qualities and has been a best friend to me. His behavioral issues do need to be taken into account and respected in order for him to have a happy living environment.
Why are you rehoming your pet (primary reason)?: Pet Behavior
Details about rehoming reason (if needed): I recently transitioned into a relationship/living environment that includes another human and dog. Danner has not adjusted well and has been very protective of me toward the other human and dog. My partner continues to be concerned for the safety of himself and his dog.
