Meet Moonah Bear. A gentle eight-year-old purebred neutered male Persian cat with a luxurious long white coat and striking blue eyes. Moonah was born at a small CFA-registered cattery, Kitty Party Cats, in Big Bear, California, on October 22nd, 2016. His parents are Champion Kitty Parties Saphire and Scandal Cats Skyler of Pur-Snickity. Both parents tested negative for PKD1 Gene. Moonah is very quiet and shy by nature. His gentle demeanor would make him most suitable for a calm household, preferably with a single owner and no other pets or children. Moonah is not a typical affectionate lap kitty. He does not like to be held for long periods but wants to lay near his companions and adore them from a short distance. He will sleep at the foot of the bed if allowed. Moonah does very well with grooming. He is easy to handle. His grooming routine was implemented at eight weeks old, so he is comfortable with brushing, bathing, shaving, blow-drying, clipping nails, and cleaning his ears. He has never bitten or swatted anyone. Early in life, Moonah developed a food allergy to poultry, so per the instructions of his vet, we switched him to Orijen Tundra dry kibble and fresh goat milk. Moonah currently resides in a multi-cat and dog environment. He is fully litter trained but does struggle with occasional territory marking when anxious or stressed by other animals. Moonah is strictly an indoor cat, a man of leisure and clocking hours of beauty rest. A perfect day for Moonah is lounging around a peaceful house with a quiet companion.

We believe Moonah is too anxious in his multi animal and multi children home environment. He may be more relaxed in a quiet home with a quiet companion and less likely to territory mark outside the litter box. He deserves a patient and loving owner that will enjoy his beauty and company in peace and quiet.
