What commands does your dog know?: sit, stay (3-5 mins), down. I use hand signals with the commands.
Has your dog ever displayed any behavioral issues, such as biting another person or pet? If so, can you please provide details on what happened?: no. She will bark and lung at dogs on leashes. I make her sit with her leash held tight and close to me. I say "Calm" and pet her ear. I praise her when she stays calm. She's improved but does not have it mastered yet.
How does your dog react to being left alone for short periods?: She does not chew my things. She may bring a shoe into the living room like a message to me or a need to have my smell close. She does not damage anything in the house. If left alone outside for long she will dig for entertainment.
Are there any specific triggers that cause your dog anxiety or stress?: Strangers coming to the door. She barks.
Is there a particular routine that works best for your dog in terms of feeding, walking, and sleep?: She gets 1.5 cups at 8am and at 5pm, but she doesn't eat it all. I have to pick it up to prevent my other dog from eating it. So I offer it to her again about noon and at 6pm. She finished her meals then. So 4 times a day. Would be good if it was safe to leave it out for her to finish as she needed.
