Teddy

I adopted Teddy from his original adopter off Craigslist in November 2019, when he was 3 months old. Unfortunately, Teddy has separation anxiety and I haven't had success in helping him manage it. His separation anxiety is now causing strain on my own mental health and I think we will both be happier in the longrun through rehoming him.

Teddy should go to a home with a caregiver familiar with separation anxiety, and willing to work with him through training, medication, and management to get him well adjusted to a new environment. He tends to do better in homes with other dog siblings.

Teddy is a very smart dog. He easily learns routines of his humans, and learns basic tricks and obedience with ease through positive reinforcement training. He has a lot of energy - and his next home should have a caregiver willing to walk him at least once a day, or a yard for him to run around in.

Best in a home without children.
