Haven is a female black & white poodle mix, about 2 years old, who came to us after enduring horrific neglect. She's one of several dogs we have rescued recently that appear to have been dumped and left to starve by a cruel breeder. She's been treated for skin and ear infections, as well as for starvation, and she has finally gained some weight and is starting to feel safe. She's doing well with her crate and with house training. She's still mostly focused on food, but she just needs some more time, love, and a good routine to continue her recovery. She has shown no aggression, so she should be fine with kids, laid-back dogs, and probably cats. She's ready for her own family to help her become the beloved pet she deserves to be. A fenced yard and a home that is owned are preferred to ensure Haven is never homeless again. If you have questions, please feel free to email Blair (her foster home) at blairhsow@gmail.com.
