Trinity

From what we know - she was abused and most likely abandoned. She was at a kill shelter for about 2 days. A coworker agreed to be a temp foster when the shelter needed to close due to a freeze in mid January. Afterwards the shelter wouldn't take calls, and when they finally got ahold of them they said she would be put down if she was brought back - so they started looking for someone to take her.
We agreed after meeting her twice.
She is incredibly sweet and smart. Initially had some leash trauma, but is always eager to go out for a walk now.
She isn't 100% kennel trained, but will mostly go into her kennel willingly, and calms down after about 15-20 minutes, and will stay calmly for however long you need to leave her.
She is a little thin, but well muscled - currently weighs 50lbs, about 55-60 lbs would be healthy on her currently - but she is growing still. (We think she is about 10 months old).
She is incredibly sweet, follows you from room to room, and loves to cuddle on the couch or in bed
She is also incredibly smart, picks up on things quickly, and needs her mind occupied.
She is high energy, needs space to run and be free (and use the restroom).
One of the main reasons we can't keep her is she won't pee outside on the leash often. We can go for a 45 minute walk, she will come inside and pee on the floor 5 minutes later.
She loves people, other dogs, and cats (but doesn't realize how much bigger and stronger she is). Is other dogs are aggressive she reacts in kind immediately.
The longer we have her the more it becomes evident that our current space isn't cutting it - she needs a big yard. But we won't be able to move for at least 6 months.
The co-worker foster has kids (older elementary age) and she adored them.
