Because of changes in my current living situation, I need to find a new home for my dear cat, Ruthie. I hate to part with her and want to make sure that Ruthie is placed in a wonderful home.
I met her 4 years ago after her traumatic entry into this world. She was rescued on a cold, rainy night where she was found with her two litter mates in a city drain. After coaxing her out of the drain by playing a YouTube video of a cat meowing, she was finally rescued by our friends at TJ O’Conner. Because of this, she is a bit of a scaredy cat and touch is on her terms. That said, she loves to sit on my lap and have her head and ears petted, and often sleeps on my bed.
Ruthie is a curious, smart, playful cat and still has plenty of kitten energy. Her beautiful green eyes are a perfect match for her black and white coat. Did I mention she is polydactyl (extra toes), so it is important to keep her nails trimmed. Those toes are just one of the many things that make her unique and wonderful. She had her annual exam on 12/28/23; she weighs 14 pounds and is in great health.
The ideal home for Ruthie would be with adults who know and love cats. Ruthie is an indoor cat and needs to remain so. A screened-in porch and screened windows allow her to keep watch over all the birds and squirrels. Ruthie comes with a litter box, scooper, cat bowls, automatic feeder, 3 beds, scratch post, laser pointer, nail clippers and a small carrier.
