Tundra

We found Tundra as a stray last year, all skin and bones and injuries galore. We did not have plans for a dog, but could not leave her on the streets. We got her vet care, all her shots, and got her to a healthy weight with lots of muscle. She is now housebroken, well behaved, and perfect with kids. She is still young, estimated age around 2yrs. We tried to keep her because I just don't want to part with such an amazing dog, nearly perfect in every way. Won't chew anything in your home, great with the kids and the house cat, super well behaved, loves hiking etc. Great fit to our family. The downside is she can not be around any other dogs, does not get along with any we have tried. And oh boy have we tried. We travel 8-10 times per year and each time it gets harder and harder to find a pet sitter due to her not being able to get along with other dogs. I really don't want to let her go but I have to travel for work and it's getting to a point now that I will have to choose my fantastic career vs a stray dog I found and cared for. If I could make it work she would stay put forever! But I just can't.
