Pete

Looking to Rehome Our Adventure Guy

Pete is a total dog's dog! He will say hello to any dog on his walks and loves to wrestle and play chase at the park with his friends. He's good with big and small dogs alike. He is also incredibly smart and is very trainable.

Pete is mostly a shepherding breed, so he requires high exercise, stimulation, and training. He is currently living in the city, and he tells us he needs more space and exercise!

He is apprehensive about strangers and may bark a lot when an unknown person comes into the house, but he is absolutely attached at the hip and affectionate with his people.

We think Pete would do best in a home where he could either:

  1. Have one or more dog companions that he can play rough with on a daily basis
  2. A home with a lot of space where he can run around, explore, and ideally have a job to do
  3. An owner who is willing to put the time and energy into his continued training
