Has your dog ever displayed any behavioral issues, such as biting another person or pet? If so, can you please provide details on what happened?: He tends to “nibble”/bite hard when he’s bored or angry about not getting his way - ex: getting on the couch, if someone is sitting in what he’s deemed his spot, stealing our house shoes to chew, etc. He barks if he can’t see his people.
How does your dog react to being left alone for short periods?: He barks for 20+ min and seems to go to sleep after that. We keep a crate in the car so he can do carpool with us just in case I have to run an errand. He is very good riding in the car, but, left unattended , he will eat/ chew on whatever he can find.
Are there any specific triggers that cause your dog anxiety or stress?: High emotions and loud voices.
Is there a particular routine that works best for your dog in terms of feeding, walking, and sleep?: Nifler sits before he goes through a door and must wait for me to go through the door first; he must wait to eat his food until I say “free”; we try to only feed him on his plate including table food; he has kibble dry food, but I also cook a little extra of our dog-safe human foods to blend for his wet food, his crate is his quiet, safe place; he goes to crate if he won’t stop barking/nibbling hard; while he’s decompressing he sleeps a lot through the day & sleeps through the night.

Is there anything else you'd like your pet's new family to know?: I would recommend children 7+. He really likes to chew - especially plastic and wood, so it is wise to keep several chews available. His hip seems to both him sometimes especially if he is too big for what he wants to lay on. He loves a comfy couch and to be covered/snuggles in a blanket.
