Paprika

Paprika "Peppy" is a 7YO kitty originally from Washington Heights NY. His mom, Kobe, was found by a friend, pregnant, on the streets. When my friend tried returning Kobe, he was turned away due to Kobe's pregnancy. My friend helped her through her birth, then gave Kobe and the kittens to me to keep until they were all adopted. I fell in love with the beautifully unique black/grey kitten whose eyes were the first to open in the litter. Peppy is a good animal who will snuggle you when you're sad or sick. However, he is an anxious kitty who is terrified of new people. He needs a friendly home that will give him the time he needs to warm up and become acclimated. I've had several new roommates over the years and it has consistently taken about 2-3 weeks for him to learn to love the new people in his life. My boyfriend is severely allergic in addition to having asthma so we sadly have to find Peppy a new home.
