Peanut

Rehoming our pit bull bulldog mix, she is an amazing companion and protector. I can no longer keep her because I moved back in with my parents, I work 6 days a week and am just not home with her enough. I don’t think it’s fair she has to either only sit in my room or outside when I’m gone. My parents have two small dogs and three cats and peanut doesn’t get along with other animals, she has met the dogs through a fence and is tolerant of them like that. She has met other bigger dogs (neighbors dog ran into my yard while I was walking her) she immediately wanted to fight with the bigger dog.

What criteria are important to you when considering an adoptive family or home for your pet?: Must have a fenced yard and be willing to keep her as an inside dog. I believe she would do best in a household without very young children, if any children they should be at least 5 years of age as she is pretty burly and often accidentally knocks over or hurts smaller children when trying to play. Absolutely no other dogs or cats or farm animals, as long as she will be separated from rodent and reptilian pets as far as I know those are ok as they’re easier to keep separated.
