Bruce Lee

Bruce Lee is one of the sweetest dogs I've have ever known. I, my wife, and our kids adore him and love having him as part of our family.
Rehoming him is a very difficult decision for us, In fact, we would prefer not to rehome him if possible. However, we are moving this Spring and do not know if we can find a rental unity that allows large dogs. We are putting him up on Rehome with Love because if he can’t be with us, we want him to find a great home and the thought of surrendering him to a shelter is more than we can bare.
Bruce Lee is extremely friendly, even for a husky, never aggressive toward anyone or anything. He is a very loving dog, always eager to be pet behind his ears and have his belly rubbed and loves to snuggle.
He loves to play fetch with tennis balls, play tug of war and gets ecstatic when he gets to chase us or run alongside us. He does best with lots of exercise and would be happiest in a home where he can get a lot of physical activity.
He is an amazing dog, sweet, gentle and playful, goofy, clever and with just the right amount of mischievousness. I guarantee that once you meet him you'll fall in love like we did.

Has your dog received any formal obedience training?: Yes
What commands does your dog know?: Sit, come, go, stop (most of the time); also, sometimes, "drop it" and "shake"
Has your dog ever displayed any behavioral issues, such as biting another person or pet? If so, can you please provide details on what happened?: He has never bitten anyone or any other dog; he does still mouth hands to get attention or when he wants to wrestle but he is extremely gentle. He needs to chew A LOT, so its best to remove important items if he is going to be left alone in the house.
How does your dog react to being left alone for short periods?: He's usually fine. He only gets upset if he is in an unfamiliar place, or is tied up (for example, while I go into a store). He can also get upset if you stop playing with him suddenly and leave him alone.

What criteria are important to you when considering an adoptive family or home for your pet?: He is a pretty active dog so they need to be able to keep up with his energy. He loves being part of a group and would do best with a family/in a home with at least two people. Lastly, I need to know he will be loved and taken care of.
Is there anything else you'd like your pet's new family to know?: He is always well meaning, no matter what trouble he gets into. He can be stubborn and independent, but genuinely wants to make you happy. He is only partly trained but is very receptive to training; we just haven't had the time and bandwidth to train him as much as we wanted.
