Anthony

Anthony is a very kind, warm, and energetic one-year-old cat. He is around 15 pounds and is initially timid and takes a few seconds to recognize who you are. Anthony’s mother came to a family member when she about to give birth, resulting in Anthon and his sister (see profile for his sister, Silvia). Born on March 24, 2023, and brought to his foster home on June 5, 2023. Anthony was brought to the vet on July 10, 2023, for his initial checkup where he tested positive for FIV but otherwise is happy, healthy, and well-mannered kitten/cat. He was neutered and microchipped on November 13, 2023, and had his one-year checkup in late February 2024, with no issues.
Anthony is a very loving and playful cat. He loves to be in the same room with you and loves toys of all kind, he will be chilling and suddenly be playing with any random toy that caught his attention. He loves toys on strings and a laser pointer but really any toy is a good time. He loves a jute scratching post for a nice stretch and feels its almost required in his forever him. His diet consists of Iams dry food for indoor cats, although I change it occasionally, and wet food about a half serving, 4 times per week, as well as treats of any kind. He loves food and his diet does need to be monitored so he doesn’t chonk up too much, easily done with a timed feeder or portion controlling if served “ala carte.” He is very careful not to hurt anyone when playing and is careful with his claws when snatching items in the air when playing (i.e. toys on strings). Plays fetch but only half of it.
