Sol

Sol is a border collie who will be turning 3 yrs old in June. I love him so much and have had him since he was six weeks old, which makes this decision to rehome him so hard. I'm looking to rehome him because I plan to travel and potentially move states, and I know that his best life would be with a more dedicated and committed family than he has now. He is neutered and potty trained. Sol’s favorite activities are playing fetch, going on walks, and cuddling. He is a very smart dog that needs mental stimulation such as puzzles, tasks, toys and bones. He is a very good listener and always has good intentions. He is a very happy, loving, end energetic dog. He tends to be scared of other dogs and intimidating people. My goal is to find an active home that will provide and reciprocate the unconditional love and attention he gives and deserves! If your household already has another pet, please be aware that we will need to work to make sure everyone is comfortable with each other. A household without any current pets will make for the best transition. Pets he lives with include a miniature Doberman mix and a tortoise.

What criteria are important to you when considering an adoptive family or home for your pet?: What I’m looking for in Sol’s adoptive family is a family that will love him (obvious lol but I’m serious). And a family that preferably doesn’t have any other dogs or cats (unless you want to go through the hurdle of getting everyone comfortable with each other. I’ll help). And I’m looking for a family that will talk to him in a cute voice once in a while because he loves it. He loves physical touch and attention lol. But yeah I just want someone for him that will be committed. I think a household of 3+would be ideal for him, 2 minimum.

Rehoming reason details (if necessary): I’m rehoming Sol because I’m going to be moving states and I can no longer care for him. This was such a hard decision to make that has taken many months of me going back and forth. But I know a new home will be best for him long term
