Nyama is a 5 year old Pitbull Boxer Mix. She is super cuddly and loving. She loves to play and go on walks and loves to run and run and run. She is a special dog that needs to be the only dog in the home. Does not get along well with other animals. Would do well with someone who enjoys continued training and knows dog behaviors.

What's the most endearing thing about your dog?:
She’s SUCH a loving doggy. She loves cuddles and to sleep right by you. Loved her tummy rubs and wants to play and run around a yard if possible.
What criteria are important to you when considering an adoptive family or home for your pet?:
No other animals, would do best with a single person or couple. Someone who understands dogs behaviors and could add to her training.
Is there anything else you'd like your pet's new family to know?:
She does get anxious and might do well on an anxiety med. She will need an adjusting period, it will take her time to get to know you and trust you. But as you build a relationship, if you play with her and love on her she will be the best loyal dog to you ever. She does well when training with a squirt water bottle, she does not like water so if she’s jumping or being naughty just holding the squirt bottle she listens.

I separated from my partner who I originally adopted this dog with. Since then I have been working extreme hours, and she’s at home in my apartment. I don’t feel it’s fair for her to go from a house with a yard to my apartment. She deserves more.
