Hazel

Hazel is a beautiful and loyal 8yr old spayed girl who is completely healthy (just had a big checkup ) and up to date on all vaccinations. She is house trained and knows basic commands. She is calm, loyal and loving and requires minimal exercise due to being 8years old (but also still loves to go on a walk , "hunt" for lizards, swim, and play outside) She is non shedding and requires regular grooming.
The ONE and ONLY problem Hazel has is she MUST be an only dog. She has always had the tendency to guard her humans from other dogs but sadly it's gotten worse......."
She has NEVER shown any type of aggression towards any human and loves everyone she meets, does not resource or food guard.... it's just random (no rhyme or reason) attacks on her resident fur sisters.
She can be on a leash and go places (rides GREAT in a car) but I wouldn't recommend a dog park or doggy day care for her due to this one flaw. The vet and groomer are an easy thing for Hazel and she always gets great compliments when she goes by the staff!
She wants to be the only child princess of her humans and when that is the case....she is honestly perfect!
She would be a PERFECT companion for a single person or couple who are home a lot and do not have or plan on acquiring another dog nor have dogs visit their home. She sleeps in the bed. I do not know about cats as she has never been around one. She is about 40lbs and a first generation goldendoodle.
While Hazel has always been kind to children, her exposure has been limited . Due to her age, older children would be a better fit out of fairness to Hazel.
She is fine in an apt and ok being left along for several hours. She does not require a crate and just wants to be with her people.
Thank you for considering giving Hazel a wonderful home. In return, you will receive so much love and companionship."
