Cleo is very defensive towards strangers and her fear presents itself as aggression. Her biting has never been severe but warrants caution and alertness. She recently began biting feet and trying to sneak behind strangers to get at their feet.

What criteria are important to you when considering an adoptive family or home for your pet?: Cleo's separation/social anxiety and resulting behavior will require much patience and forgiveness.

She does well with other dogs as long as they are not aggressive towards her or try to alpha her. She is likes smaller animals but is very invasive with them. She is possessive of toys.

Rehoming reason details (if necessary): Cleo's separation anxiety from her owner has led to numerous bite instances. The behavior seems to be worsening with time. For this reason, the owner no longer feels confident to leave her with a sitter Cleo doesn't already know and is looking for someone who does not travel and can afford space and time until Cleo learns to trust them and be her person.
