Mazik

I'm Mazik, and I'd love to move back to the countryside!

Greetings All,

Mazik lived with me from a very early age in a remote wilderness setting in NM. No roads, no cars, no people other than family, no other dogs (except for Biko, my other dog), no weird/unfamiliar noises...

Mazik is 9. Since January 2024, upon my relocation from dog paradise to suburbia, his reactivity has become troublesome. He barks at passersby, especially other dogs. On a leash (completely new to him) he lunges and becomes agitated upon seeing people or dogs. Previously, because Mazik stayed home and was well adapted to his environment, I never considered training.

Mazik needs a home in a spacious, quiet and peaceful rural setting where he can again enjoy the outdoors, with fewer unfamiliar distractions. Alternatively, someone with dog training experience or an opaquely fenced yard could succeed in a suburban environment.

Mazik is sweet, loving, loyal and cuddly. He has been well cared for and never ill. He is a terrific watchdog and companion. He has the most beautiful eyes!
