Ridge is a very complicated little kitty. He is extremely sweet and loving, but can be mischievous and jumpy. We got him because he has FelV and we didn't want to put him down. They said that he was very cuddly, but that's only 70ish % of the time. He is very energetic and needs a bigger house. We live in an apartment and he runs around like crazy. He needs a big space and room to run. He also is loud because of the FelV. He has trouble breathing (Haven't had to take him to the vet. The breathing trouble is normal in FelV cats) which makes my boyfriend go crazy sometimes. Especially at night. My boyfriend gets up at 4 in the morning and we have to shut him out because he keeps us up. The noise could also be nasal polyps. He might need surgery. He also keeps us up with his playing.
He is such a goofy and lovable cat, he just needs more attention and a friend. Another FelV cat or maybe try to introduce him to a dog.
( Please know that FelV is contagious to other cats by saliva )
