I am in the military and was being sent to another duty station. At the time I was married and my spouse wanted to keep Kai. It was a terrible judgement call on my part, but I let him keep Kai. About a year Later, my ex spouse calls me to let me know that he is moving back home and can’t take Kai with him. I’ve been trying to get him back to me ever since. Plans kept falling through and I haven’t been successful. As much as I would love to be his mama again, I’m on a time crunch and it doesn’t look hopeful that I’ll be able to accomplish getting him to me. To make things worse, the friend that my ex left Kai with will also be moving soon and cannot take the him.
