its been 3 years now that we have a hunting dog and no matter how much training and exposure they have to each other they do not get along. On several occasions our dog has managed to get through the gates and we find her pinned to the ground completely soiled from how afraid she is…she has no front claws so is completely unable to defend herself, its so sad. Unfortunately, at this point she’s sectioned off into one corner of the house and her quality of life here is just terrible.
