Ruby

Urgently in need of a loving home!

Hello! We are looking for a loving home for our sweet dog Ruby! Ruby has been a huge part of our family since we adopted her as a puppy in 2016. Making this decision to find her a new home has been heartbreaking, but we found out we were pregnant earlier this year and given the fact that Ruby is fear reactive with children, we’ve made the impossible decision to find a home for her that has no pets and no children so she can live the rest of her life peacefully and loved by her new forever home!

Ruby is the biggest lover! She will cuddle with you forever if you let her. Just get a cozy blanket and nice spot on the couch or bed and she’ll love you forever. She also loves walking and playing in a nice open space, like a yard. She has basic training and is very treat motivated so she can learn very quickly! We could not have asked for a more loving dog to call part of our family for the last 8 years and this decision has been extremely difficult for us to make. We know that with the right home, our baby will be safe and Ruby will be loved and everyone will be better for it. We want the best situation for Ruby as much as we want to keep our baby safe. We just ask that you let her warm up to you so that she can come out of her shell and show you all that love we know she has to give!

Ruby is in great health and up to date on exams and vaccinations. She has never had any surgeries other than being spayed around 8 months old. Regular play and exercise has helped her stay healthy her whole life with us!
