Piper

Friendly and Energetic Piper Needs an Active Lifestyle

Piper is a very friendly, kind, and playful dog. She is also incredibly energetic, and is at her best when she is able to get significant daily exercise, especially with another playful dog who will run around outside with her. We now have two small children (ages 3 and 1) and an older dog whose knees don’t let her run much any more. As a result, we are not able to give Piper the level of exercise and attention that she craves. When she is not able to be as active, she shows it indoors with increased barking, jumping, and pawing for attention. Piper is in need of a home with active owners who have the time and space to get her the exercise she needs, and ideally she would have a fenced-in yard and another active dog in the family. She did not take well to training as a puppy, so she lacks discipline in regards to barking and jumping, though again she is much better about this when she is getting substantial exercise.
