Sakari

I’m heartbroken to share that I am needing to rehome my spirited three-year-old German Shepherd mix, Sakari. Sakari is an enthusiastic and dedicated companion, known for her high energy and loving nature. She loves to run around, play fetch, and enjoys nothing more than spending quality time with her family. Her favorite toys are those with squeakers, big bones to chew on, and sticks. Sakari thrives when learning new tricks and engaging in activities that challenge her sharp mind.
Sakari has mastered several commands, including sit, stay, heel, shake, and be gentle. While she’s still working on “lay down,” she’s a quick learner and enjoys the process. One of her most endearing habits is sitting underneath your legs with the command “under,” showcasing her desire to be close and connected with her human companions. Although Sakari is good with kids, she sometimes forgets her size and can be a bit overwhelming with her affection. She has shown some difficulty in getting along with other female dogs and can be selective with her canine friends. Her experience with cats is marked by shyness rather than aggression, making her a suitable companion in a home with feline friends who appreciate a gentle giant. Sakari does suffer from separation anxiety, which makes her reliant on a companion guardian who understands her breed and can meet her energetic and emotional needs. She is crate-trained, finding comfort in her kennel for sleeping and napping. Regular exercise is crucial for Sakari, and she thrives with daily walks or runs to burn off her abundant energy. Her health is excellent, with up-to-date vaccinations and no known medical conditions. Sakari is spayed and house-trained, making her a well-prepared member of a loving home. Her ideal family would be experienced with German Shepherds and capable of providing the training and attention she needs.
Sakari’s protective and affectionate nature makes her a constant companion, always eager to be by your side! If you have the experience, time, and love to offer this sweet girl, she’s ready to bring boundless joy and loyalty into your life.
