Kala is a wonderful dog and we are so sad we need to re home her but we are moving out of the country and it’s not possible for her to come on this journey with us. She is a family dog, friendly with children and she absolutely loves other dogs. She is a big girl at 80 pounds. She would benefit from training because she still jumps up sometimes.
An ideal situation would be her going to a home that already has another dog or two because she loves to play so much.
Kala is very protective of her family and her home. In the home and in the front yard she considers herself a guard dog and she can bark loudly at people approaching— it is in her DNA to protect her family! Once Kala knows a person and feels relaxed that the person is safe she is absolutely loyal and loving. With some training this could also be lessened.
She is a joy to have at home, she gives a lot of love and affection, she loves to be close and to cuddle. She does pretty well being left alone for periods of time like 4 hours as long as she has gotten exercise and food.
