Milo is a 2.5 year old silky terrier! He is full of energy and a sweet boy (at times lol). He does not do well around young children/babies which is a big reason we need to find him a new home. I work and am gone 10 hours a day which leaves me very little time to spend with him. He is potty pad trained but still has accidents just because. He also can be destructive (chewing baseboards, ripping carpet, chewing shoes) He knows a few commands like sit, get down, treat, etc. Milo would really benefit being in a home with only adults or older children. He still play bites with adults but comes off aggressive towards kids (when provoked). Milo is neutered and up to date on all shots. He will need lots of love and attention and some serious training. We never did crate training but i do believe he would greatly benefit from more rules. When i first got milo, it was just me and him and i was able to spend more time with him. He has not adjusted well to a toddler in the house. He is an escape artist! If you let him get through the front door or gate he will keep running, usually he will respond and come back with a treat. I would never want milo to end up in a pound or euthanized. It is important to me that whoever adopts milo knows he will be a challenge and need lots of training, love, and attention. If he ever became too much to handle, i would want you to reach out to me before surrendering him anywhere else.
