Seeking New Home
I have had Benny since he was 4 months old. He is now 4. He is energetic, cuddly, loving and goofy. I have had to make the very hard decision to rehome due to his reactivity. I am in an apartment and unfortunately, apartment living is not good for him due to overstimulation. I took him to a training place for 2 months, which helped a bit, but the apartment triggers can cause him to be reactive. He is very well trained - sit, down, sit pretty, shake, place, wait, come.
Benny is definitely an outdoorsy dog. I have taken on many hikes, camping trips, and cabin trips. When we are the cabin, he is free to roam off leash, as his recall is very good. He thrives outside. He also loves car rides with the windows down. He will take in every smell!
Benny currently lives with another dog so it would be great if his future home has a buddy for him to play with. I am also seeking someone with fenced yard for him to run around in or land where he can roam.

He eats 2x a day. I typically wake up and get ready for the day and then I feed him and let him out. I walk him 3-5 times a day (I live in an apartment), but some of the walks are short. What criteria are important to you when considering an adoptive family or home for your pet?:
The adoptive family needs to live in a home with a decent sized backyard. It would be great if they have another dog. Benny has always been around my family dogs and he loves having a buddy to play with. If you do not, I have always taken him to dog parks and he loves playing with dogs there.
Is there anything else you'd like your pet's new family to know?:
Benny is an amazing dog and you’ll fall in love with him very quickly.
Why are you rehoming your pet (primary reason)?:
Housing is Inadequate for Pet
Rehoming reason details (if necessary):
Benny struggles on the leash when there are people and dogs around. The apartment living is stressful for him with all of the stimulates. He needs a yard to run around in so he does not require leash walks.
